Trail in Festus goes forward

According to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article, a long-planned trail in Festus is finally moving forward:
"All of the steps on the bicycle trail are now complete and we're ready to go out for bid," city administrator Gary Edwards said.

The hiking-biking trail is to begin at Sunset Park and end at West City Park. The trail is to also have entry points at Festus High School, Festus Elementary School and at Our Lady School.
