Trail to connect St. Peters to Katy Trail
An STLToday article details the progress of a trail that will connect St. Peters with the Katy Trail:
The idea began as a trail through a St. Charles County subdivision. Two years later, parks advocates are making progress on plans for a mile-and-a-half-long path that would connect the Katy Trail with other parks and trails in St. Charles, St. Peters and beyond.
The trail would help fulfill a regional objective of linking trails, greenways and parks. Advocates say that as early as 2006 an in-line skater, bicyclist or jogger on a St. Peters trail, for instance, could get to the Katy Trail in St. Charles without having to mingle with traffic.
