Bicycling at the 2004 Summer Olympics

Wikipedia has an excellent summary of bicycling events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. The article will be continually updated as cycling events take place, including summaries of the races and detailed final results of each race.
Cycling at the 2004 Summer Olympics will be split into three separate disciplines;
Road, Track and Mountain biking.

The road cycling will then be split into the endurance Road Race (with the start and finish in Kotzia Square and taking place around historic Athens) and the Individual time trial which will be held at the Vouliagmeni Olympic Centre with separate races being held in both for men and women.

The track cycling is split into twelve varied men's and women's events that will all be held in the Olympic Velodrome at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex.

The mountain biking will take place at the Olympic Mountain Bike Venue at Parnitha, in the Deme of Acharnai, and has just 2 cross country events: one for men and one for women.
