Tyler Hamilton wins gold, Dede Barry Silver, Bobby Julich bronze

The U.S. had a strong showing in the 2004 Olympic time trials Wednesday, with Tyler Hamilton winning gold and Bobby Julich Bronze in the men's time trial, and Dede Barry winning silver in the women's time trial.
According to a KCStar story, Hamilton said, "I believe we are one of the best cycling countries in the world, with Lance Armstrong winning the last six Tours de France and the great results here today."
