New 5-mile section of Smithviille Lake Trail opens

According to a KCStar article:
A 5-mile stretch of the walking trail along Smithville Lake was unveiled Thursday, making the total mileage of winding trails completed so far to be about 11 miles, Clay County officials said.

The new trail segment begins along Sailboat Cove and continues to Route W.
