Bicycle safety bill filed in Missouri Senate!

Missouri Bicyclists,

I just heard from our lobbyist, James Farrell, that the "bicycle bill" has been officially filed in the Senate!

"SB 372 - Provides for various measures relating to bicycle safety and the duties owed to bicyclists by motorists"

Sponsor is Senator Kevin Engler and co-sponsors are John Griesheimer and Larry Taylor.

If you can spare a quick 5 minutes, it would be nice to email the sponsors a quick note of thanks. You can use this online form to email Senators Engler, Greisheimer, and Taylor. (Just pick their names from the list of senators provided on that form.)

But first of all--thanks to all of YOU who have financially supported the Missouri Bicycle Federation, which allowed us to hire Mr. Farrell, which is what made this bit of progress possible.
