Walk to School Day across Missouri
Thanks to a new statewide Safe Routes to School program, growing
regional SRTS programs sponsored by TrailNet in St Louis, PedNet in Columbia, the Mid-America Regional Council in Kansas City, and many individuals and schools across the state, Walk to School Day across Missouri received more attention and had more participants than ever this year.
Coverage:
Thanks to the generosity of PedNet, a set of "How-to" materials for starting your own walk to school day are available online.
It's easy, fun, good for kids, and good for the community.
