October is Walk to School Month: Organize your own 2012 Walk to School Day event - resources and help
October is Walk to School month in Missouri, and schools across the state hold Walk to School Day events.
Last year, we had the most Missouri schools ever participate in Walk to School Day, with 59 schools participating from every part of the state. Let's make 2012 even better!

Walk to School Day
Walk to School Day, Week, and Month are all a part of Missouri's official state holiday calendar, thanks to legislative sponsors Senator Will Kraus of Lee's Summit and Noel Torpey of Independence.
Here are resources to help you get started with Walk to School Day in your own school or community:
