Bike Month: Kansas City Bike to Work Week May 14-18
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Fri, 05/04/2007 - 6:42pm
The Kansas City area's Bike to Work Week, May 14-18, 2007, is planned to be bigger and better than ever.
Highlights include "Ride to Your Place of Worship" on the weekends at either end of the week, "Bike is Your Ticket to Ride"--ride the bus for free when you bring your bus on the 100% of area buses with bike racks, on Friday, May 18th, the Ride of Silence May 16th, and many other rides and events that week.
The Bicycle Commuter Challenge makes it fun to try riding/walking/busing to work that week, with teams and individuals working together to get to work and win great prizes.
