Last two stages of Tour of MO to have different routes--details announcement Monday

According to Kathleen Nelson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

As in the inaugural race last year, St. Louis will serve as host for the grand finale, scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 14. This year’s route again will be a circuit, longer than last year’s. The start and finish line will move to Tucker and Market streets, near City Hall, rather than Union Station, and will finish approximately 4:45 p.m. . . .

The final point-to-point stage Sept. 13 has been shortened but contains tougher climbs. It starts in Hermann, proceeds along Highways 100 and 94 and features two tough climbs, up Old Colony and Schluersburg Roads near Augusta. The route then will head into O’Fallon and finish on the St. Charles riverfront.

This year, though, riders will approach from the north, rather than the south, and are expected to finish about 4:15 p.m.
