St. Louis Bike Station 'soft opening' goes well

 

According to St. Louis Post-Dispatch articles, the St. Louis Downtown Bike Station's first public opening went well:

The 'soft opening" of the Downtown Bicycle Station went well Thursday, organizers said. The official opening of the bike station, at 1011 Locust Street, will be next Thursday. Urban Shark bicycle company, 1009 Locust Street, will open the same day and help oversee the bike station. . .  .

So now, anyone wanting a membership can sign up on the website at www.downtownbicyclestation.com  or visit the Trailnet offices at 1533 Washington Avenue. Pose questions to emily@trailnet.org. . . . .

Memberships • $150 for a year; $20 for a month; $5 for day passes. Sign up before the grand opening and get an extra month free and the $20 application fee will be waived. The fee is also waived for members of Trailnet and the Downtown Partnership. Corporate memberships are $1,000 for 10 members. More than 100 members have already signed up.

Trailnet and Big Shark Bicycle Company are involved in running different parts of the venture.
