August 25th: BikeMO 2012, our annual fund raising ride--on the Lewis & Clark Trail AND the American Discovery Trail

BikeMO, our annual fund raising ride for bicycle advocacy in Missouri, is coming up Saturday, August 25th, starting at the Les Bourgeois Winery in central Missouri.

When we plan our rides and events, we're always looking for that statewide tie-in--for example the Dutchtown Classic Community Ride in St. Louis in May featured many of the Bike St. Louis routes but also four of the national bicycle routes that run through Missouri: A good portion of the Mississippi River Trail, part of the proposed Route 66 Bicycle Route through Missouri, a section of the Great Rivers Route through Missouri, and a section of the American Discovery Trail

BikeMO--which features 30, 67, and 100 mile routes this year, as well as a Katy Trail option--also gives you the option of riding a portion of our national bicycle routes.
