Capitol Day 2013 and our statewide Bicycle & Pedestrian Award Winners are in the news already.
Fourth Ward councilman Ian Thomas was among the 14 recipients of an award from the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation.
The Missouri Friend of Bicycle and Walking Award honors Missouri residents who have promoted bicycling and walking in their communities, across the state and nationwide.
Ian Thomas“It is very nice to be recognized for your work,” Thomas said.

A local biking event will receive statewide honors today.
The Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation members from around Missouri gather today to honor individuals and events from around Missouri that have made their communities better. East Prairie's Tour de Corn was named the Missouri Bicycle Event of the Year.
