MoDOT favors wide shoulder solution to connect Katy Trail to new Washington, MO, bridge

MoDOT is committed to including a safe bike/ped path on the new Hwy 47 Missouri River bridge at Washington, MO.  But connecting the bridge to the Katy Trail, a few miles away, is a more difficult problem.  The connection along newly widened shoulders along Hwy 47 could be a good option.
