St. Louis bicycle delivery business expands
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports on a successful, growing bicycle delivery business in St. Louis:
Starting Sunday, Griffin Delivery will begin operating under the name The Bike Waiter. Its delivery area will expand to include midtown, the Central West End, Lafayette Square, Soulard and the Hill — basically an area within a 15-minute bike ride from the restaurants with which they partner.
It is also expanding its delivery hours, lowering service fees and adding on more riders and restaurants.
And in coming weeks, riders will begin to wear the yellow-and-black jerseys that they wear in San Antonio. And they will begin transporting the food in branded trailers attached to the bikes that will double as a mobile advertisement for the business.
