Organize your local event: Walk to School Day Oct 9th

International Walk to School Day is October 9th, 2013 and the entire month of October is International Walk to School Month.
Walk to School Day, Week, and Month are all a part of Missouri's official state holiday calendar, thanks to legislative sponsors Senator Will Kraus of Lee's Summit and Noel Torpey of Independence.
