Urban transportation & transit underfunded by about half in Missouri " ART-MO

On average over 10 years, the other states spent 34% of highway taxes on Urban roads and mass transit. Missouri spent only 15% on urban roads and mass transit.

Even allocating a portion of the interstates for urban support based on the percent of urban population, the urban portion of funding is:
49 States 52.2%
Missouri 34.3%

Missouri still would need to add 18% to urban funding - MORE THAN DOUBLING the current funding level of 15%.
