A man from Sparta has been charged with shooting at a group of bicyclists and a truck over the weekend in Christian County. But court records say Cody Mchaffie's troubles started earlier in the day. . . .
Mchaffie told officers he went to his father's house, got some guns and shot at the bicyclists and a passing truck along Highway 14. A bullet hit the truck. The bicyclists, a team with Springfield Brewing Company, were not injured.
