Richmond approves project to extend Sparta Rd sidewalk across the city | Richmond Daily News
Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:
A project that could eventually stretch a sidewalk from one edge of Richmond to the other along Spartan Drive is a step closer to reality – or at least planning for it is – after a brief delay and with a split vote.
The Richmond City Council Tuesday evening voted 5-2 two approve two measures that would consolidate design work for two phases of the sidewalk project. If all the proposed work is ultimately approved and completed, a sidewalk that now runs from Walmart along Spartan Drive to Main Street would continue to the north edge of town.
