With the end of daylight saving time just around the corner, the City is encouraging residents to be safe when out and about after dark. Kansas City’s Public Works department is leading the “Glow Before You Go” campaign to remind pedestrians and bicyclists that they must be seen to be safe.
“We want people to know they should take safety measures to be visible as the days are getting shorter, and we’ll be handing out lights to help people stay light and bright when running, walking, or cycling at night,” says Public Works Active Transportation Coordinator Deb Ridgway.
