On Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 the Kansas City Public Works Department held an open house outlining the design plans for the Armour Boulevard Bikeway. The City is implementing a road diet and three miles of protected bike lanes on Armour Boulevard from Broadway to the Paseo. This project is funded with local capital improvement dollars and federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funds. We encourage residents to ask questions and give feedback on the plans through the link below.

MoBikeFed comment: This is a major step forward for Kansas City--the first protected bicycle lane in the metro area, and just the second in Missouri.
