Buildet LLC of Nevada, Missouri, submitted the apparent low bid out of eight submitted to build the Spirit Trail. . . .

Jerany Jackson, Great Rivers Engineering design project manager, said she would take the bids under advisement, verify numbers and that the companies are registered with the Missouri Department of Transportation, and then recommend a bid to commissioners next week. . . .

The next phase of the trail, through Knob Noster State Park, will be funded by the Missouri State Parks Division. Design work is complete and the project is awaits building funds.

When finished, the trail will run from Highway 13 and Route DD in Warrensburg to Whiteman Air Force Base.
