The city has been promoted to the "silver" level of bicycle-friendly communities by the League of American Bicyclists. Our fair burg had been listed at the bronze level. . . .

"We will all savor this moment, but we will promptly get back to work in order to further improve our City," Jamie Wilson, the city's bicycle/pedestrian coordinator, said in a statement.
