Sedalia Receives Grant for Prairie Queen Trail Project | KSIS

Mayor John Kehde will host a Phase I Completion/Phase II Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Prairie Queen Trail Project on Tuesday, August 13, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the trail head, located at 2420 S. New York Ave. The public is invited to attend the ceremony to learn more about the project.

MDNR’s Solid Waste Management Program provides funds for local communities and non-profit organizations for projects under their Non-Playground Scrap Tire Surface Material Grants.

These grants provide funds for running tracks, walking trails, equine/livestock stall mats, riding areas and other similar projects.
