MoBikeFed comment: For years we have been talking to convention and visitors bureaus around Missouri about the importance of creating resources for bicyclists visiting the area.

If you visit tourism web sites for Missouri communities, a few have some information about bicycling the area--but by far the majority do not.

So it is really great to see a local convention and visitors bureau that has really done it right--as the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau has.

They list no fewer than 25 amazing bicycle routes and loops centered on Jefferson City, including gravel and trail loops as well as road rides.
