MoDOT is working to complete its ADA compliance plan, which includes upgrades to all sidewalks along MoDOT routes in Missouri and has been underway for more than a decade with work in Barton and Dade Counties this year:

Route 126: Sidewalk (ADA) improvements between west of Walnut Street to Route 160 in Golden City

Route 160:  Sidewalk (ADA) improvements between North Fork Spring River and Hagny Street in Lamar

Route 160: Pavement resurfacing and add rumble strips between SE 30th Lane east of Lamar to Route 39 south of Greenfield, pedestrian improvements in Golden City and extend culverts between Lockwood and Route 39 south of Greenfield

Route C: Sidewalk (ADA) Improvements between NE 3rd Lane and NE 4th Lane in Irwin

Route W: Sidewalk (ADA) Improvements between NW 8th Road and NW 10th Road in Iantha

Route 97: Sidewalk (ADA) improvements between First Street and Thirteenth Street in Lockwood

Route 160: Sidewalk (ADA) Improvements between Park Street and Third Street in Lockwood

These are just a few of the sidewalk projects statewide, to be completed under this plan.
