KC Rotary Ride
The second annual Rotary Ride: Pedaling Against Polio will be held on JUNE 23, 2013! We have changed the date and are proud to be part of The Tour of Kansas City (TKC) – a 3-day Kansas City cycling event!

In conjunction with the Rock Island Ramble – the TKC Saturday ride on 6/22 – we are offering a $5 discount when you register for both events AND a free logo’d pint glass! Bring the glass to the post-ride block party on Sunday for discounted beverages!
In 2012 the Rotary Club of Lee’s Summit, the Blue Springs Rotary Club and the Raytown Rotary Club created Rotary Ride to celebrate all 3 clubs’ 50th anniversaries. The money raised from the event went to charity and in 2013 we’ve vowed to create a better event to raise even more money, raise awareness of the Polio Plus eradication effort (remove polio from the face of the earth) and provide an even more enjoyable day in the saddle.
More information will be coming soon. Look for this year’s ride posters (featuring artwork from local students) and sponsorship opportunities.
If you rode last year, we hope you had a wonderful time in spite of the cool weather (coldest day of the month!) and strong breezes (windy!) If you didn’t ride last year, we hope you’ll join us for a fun day in the saddle, good swag and a great route through eastern Jackson County.
Come join 100?s of fellow cyclists for Rotary Ride: Pedaling Against Polio on June 23, 2013!
