Bicycle and pedestrian improvements underway in Columbia

Columbia, Missouri's PedNet reports that
More pedways and sidewalk improvements are under construction or approved for construction throughout Columbia. In the north city, a new pedway is nearing completion as part of the Garth Avenue improvements; in the south, a pedway has been approved for the Green Meadows extension; and in the central city, a new sidewalk is being built in front of the Columbia/Boone County Health Dept.
Other Missouri cities have some catching up to do if they are going to remain on par with Columbia!
