Springfield pioneers "water trail"
According to a Springfield News-Leader article:
If people can walk alongside the river as it becomes part of a lake, why not use the river as well?
"I call it the blue trail, canoe trail, paddle trail and water trail," [Ozark Greenways Executive Director Terry] Whaley said of a project now in the planning stages. "We haven't settled on a name."
