President's Challenge: Double MoBikeFed membership by June 30th
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Sun, 05/22/2005 - 6:22pm
A letter from MoBikeFed President Brent Hugh:
MoBikeFed members & supporters,
Strong membership equals strong advocacy.
That's where I want MoBikeFed to be--acting as a strong advocate for better, safer bicycling in Missouri.
I think you agree with me that strong advocacy is needed to overcome Missouri's many barriers to better, safer bicycling.
Our recent successes in the Missouri legislature and with MoDOT are a BIG step in the right direction.
But without an equally BIG growth in our membership, such powerful advocacy will be coming to a halt soon.
To prevent this from happening, I would like to double MoBikeFed's membership by the end of June. Will you help me?
We can do this EASILY if every MoBikeFed member & supporter would invite just one friend to join MoBikeFed.
Here is the plan:1. Make sure your OWN MoBikeFed membership is current. If everyone in MoBikeFed invites just ONE FRIEND who also joins, or gives ONE GIFT MEMBERSHIP, we will double our membership by the end of June.
2. Invite a friend or two to join MoBikeFed (download a printable MoBikeFed brochure here).
3. Give a MoBikeFed gift membership.
That's pretty easy, isn't it?
Thank you! We can't do it without your help!
--Brent
