Driver charged for swerving at bicyclist

My coworker was riding on Lockwood in Webster Groves the other day and while tooling along, a passing pickup truck (I¹ll leave the stereotyping up to you all) made a quick swerve, or a jab as you will, towards him.

The good news: A Shrewsbury police car was behind both and saw all! Now in some, if not most areas this action would have been ignored by the constable. In this case, the siren and cherries came on followed by the pulling over of the pickup truck driver. As my coworker passed, the officer stopped him to get his input. The result...the pickup driver was charged with attempted assault!!!!
Sometimes it does work the way it's supposed to . . .
