The St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation recently announced a $250 donation in support of the Missouri Bicycle Federation's current $15,000 challenge grant fund raising campaign.
"The St. Louis Bike Fed has been one of MoBikeFed's key, long-term supporters," says MoBikeFed Executive Director Brent Hugh. "Their support is the main reason we are able to have the successes we are now." STL Bike Fed members and leaders have played key roles in MoBikeFed leadership and in helping craft legislative initiatives like the "safe passing" legislation of 2005.
Karen Karabell explains that the relationship etween the St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation and the Missouri Bicycle Federation is symbiotic: "Our two federations work on completely different levels to promote safety, education, advocacy and access for all cyclists."
