MO Bike Fed Seeks Quotes on Bicycles, Tools and Bike Racks

Thanks to a Safe Routes to School grant from MoDOT, the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation seeks to purchase a fleet of bikes to offer bicycle education to elementary and middle school students. The program is set to start this fall in the Kansas City region. The program will reach other parts of the state within the next two years.

Bike shops and other vendors are invited to produce quotes for 18 bicycles, a tool kit and a system of bike racks for 20 bikes. The bike racks are meant to be installed in a box truck for the purpose of transporting the bikes to and from schools.

Any questions may be directed to Eric Bunch at eric.bunch@mobikefed.org. Phone calls will not be accepted.
