Governor Nixon launches Governor's 100 Missouri Miles Challenge--photos from kickoff events
Governor Nixon launched the Governor's 100 Missouri Miles Challenge this past week with kickoff events in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield. The Governor and First Lady will be visiting other communities throughout the coming months to encourage Missourians to join the challenge. The Challenge is for at least 10,000 Missourians to walk, hike, bike, roll, or paddle at least 100 miles between now and the end of the year.
The Challenge was launched to celebrate Missouris' recent announcement as Best Trails State for 2013.
