Members of Washington’s park commission would like as much of the riverfront trail as possible untouched during the construction of the new Highway 47 bridge.

The members of the park board at Thursday’s meeting at the Chamber of Commerce office unanimously supported a plan that would protect as much of the trail as possible from construction crews.
