Work on a new extension to Columbia’s Hominy Creek Trail began Monday, according to a city press release.
The new project is the second phase of a two-phase project that will create a 2.3 mile trail by the time it is completed. The initial trail begins near Stephens Lake Park and will eventually extend north of I-70. . . .
“The extension of the trail will allow you to get under I-70 and get to the neighborhoods north of I-70,” PedNet executive director Annette Triplett said.
