Volunteer to help with bike fitting & safety rodeo at Kansas City Health & Wellness Fair

Volunteer to help with the bike fitting and bike safety rodeo at the 2018 Kansas City Health and Wellness Fair.

The Kansas City Health and Wellness Fair is Saturday, May 12th, 11am-3pm, at the Urban Neighborhood Academy,  1619 E 24th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64108.

The Health and Wellness Fair generally has over 1000 in attendance and gives away about 150 bikes to children.

Missouri Bicycle  & Pedestrian Federation volunteers will help with bike fitting and run a bicycle safety rodeo with a few simple stations. This is a great opportunity to get a good number of Kansas City youth on bicycles and with some good safety tips to get them started.

None of the volunteer jobs is hard, but they are IMPORTANT and we need your help.

Schedule:

  • Setup & Volunteer orientation: 10am-11am
  • Fair: 11am-3pm
  • Teardown/pack up: 3-3:30pm
