Bike Week intern wanted in Kansas City
The Missouri Foundation for Bicycling and Walking is seeking to hire one intern to help with Bike Week 2012 events in Kansas City.
Compensation for the position will be approximately $8/hr and time will not exceed 43 hours on the project. The program will start immediately.
Application is due by 5:00 PM on Monday, March 26th.
The duties will include helping the program manager coordinate and promote activities and events for Bike Week type events. Manage website event information and Bike Week calendar.
In addition the intern will help the program manager promote and manage a regional campaign to get more people biking, walking, carpooling and taking transit throughout the year and during special events. Intern will help manage website registration and event information. Monthly promotion, prizes, and meeting.
