KCStar article on American Discovery Trail through Missouri

Today's KCStar has a long article on the new American Discovery Trail, which runs through Missouri (from St. Louis to Kansas City, with a long stretch along the Katy Trail) and Kansas, too:
With National Trails Day approaching Saturday, there is a question: What about an east-west trail, one that would allow a person to walk from the Pacific to the Atlantic?

Such a trail exists and it runs right through Kansas City. It's the American Discovery Trail (ADT), and you might say it's a work in progress. First dreamed of about 10 years ago, the ADT made its debut in 2000, with the help of Backpacker magazine and the American Hiking Society. It runs from Delaware to California.
