MoBikeFed board meets with Missouri Tourism Director

Members of the board of the Missouri Bicycle Federation met with John Robinson, director of the Nissouri Division of Tourism Wednesday. Robinson is an avid recreational bicyclist who has been involved with bicycle and pedestrian planning in Columbia, Missouri.

The meeting was wide-ranging and productive, touching on topics such as taking pride in Missouri by keeping roadways clean and being friendly to visitors, the proposed statewide route map, a major new initiative to publicize Missouri trails, and ways the Missouri Bicycle Federation, MoDOT, and the Division of Tourism can work together to publicize bicycling opportunities in Missouri.

MoBikeFed board members will meet again with Robinson in November.
