31 pedestrians hit in school zones in MO so far this year, up from last year

According to an AP article:
"At 40 miles an hour, you need 190 feet to come to a complete stop," Doiron said. "At 25 miles an hour, you need 90 feet to stop. That is a big difference."

This year, 31 people have been hit by motorists in school zones, compared with 19 in all of last year, according to the traffic division of the Missouri Department of Transportation.
