Submitted by Brent Hugh on Fri, 12/09/2005 - 7:29pm
MoBikeFed and the Greater Kansas City Bicycle Federation are jointly sponsoring a memorial ride for bicyclist Robert Osborn, who was murdered three weeks ago while riding his bicycle home from work.
Robert's family has suggested the theme, "Safe Streets-Safe City".
EVERYONE is invited to participate the vigil, where Robert's family and friends will talk about Robert and his life.
Immediately after the vigil the bicycle ride will follow Robert's usual bicycle commuting route from Hy-Vee, where he worked. Exact route of the ride may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
