Bicycle & Pedestrian Holidays Bill passes Missouri Senate

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Holidays Bill, SB 180 sponsored by Senator Will Kraus of Lee's Summit, has passed a vote of the Missouri Senate. The bill will now go to the House where the next step will be a committee hearing.

The bill officially adds Bicycle Month (May), Bike to Work Week, Bike to Work Day as well as Walk and Bicycle to School Month, Week, and Day (October) to Missouri's Holiday Calendar.
